A vertical sundial on the wall of the birthplace of sailor Nikola Karković Trentin, a hero from the naval battle of Vis in 1866. The house is located at the address Kroz Grodu 26, (stairs leading from Pjaca to Fortica). Today, there is the Menego tavern, which is run by descendants of the Trentin Karković family. The sundial is in acceptable physical condition, but is obscured by greenery and subsequent additions and is no longer functional.
