Vertical sundial on the southern side of the bell tower. Votive Chapel of St. Florian is a protected cultural asset of the Republic of Croatia and the only chapel dedicated to St. Florian in the entire Krapina-Zagorje County. The chapel was first mentioned in a canonical visitation in 1690. The present chapel was built from the ground up in 1742. The interior was originally painted white, and in 1803 it was painted with a classicist mural containing marbling, depictions of saints in medallions and stencil decoration, discovered during conservation and restoration research in 2009. The chapel was thoroughly renovated in 1899, when the older painting was covered with today's frescoes by the Slovenian painter Franjo Sikošek from Brežice. The chapel was neglected after the Second World War and was in a very bad condition at the end of the 20th century, with the chapel tower covered only by a thin concrete blanket.

The first serious renovation project began in 1995 with the installation of a new roof, and in 2006 a thorough renovation began under the expert supervision of the conservation department in Krapina. In the fall of 2017, the 1st phase of restoration work on the wall paintings in the chapel was carried out. In the summer of 2018, the 2nd phase of restoration work on the wall painting in the sanctuary of the chapel was carried out. In Phase 3, paintings were restored outside the sanctuary area. The restoration of the chapel was completed, it was statically completely renovated and all facades were restored. The renovation program was carried out in cooperation and with the financial support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Croatia, and since 2016 the investor of these works was the Parish of the Annunciation BDM Klanjec, with the support of the City of Klanjec and Cultural Center Klanjec. The works were performed by the Joint Construction Store Gašpar from Police. Restoration works on the wall paintings were performed by the company Ars restauro d.o.o. from Sinj under the supervision of employees of the Conservation Department from Krapina. The new façade is based on research by conservator Ksenija Petrić. In April 2016, members of the Klanjec fire brigade and the Zabok-Bračak General Hospital fire brigade arranged and cleaned the area around the chapel.
