The horizontal sundial was created in 2001 in the yard of the Halusek family's house in Podravske Sesvete. It was built on a septic tank, which was thus transformed from an uglier part of the yard into a decoration. It was carried out as a project in preparation for an astronomy competition. Sixth grade student Nikolina Halusek made the preparation and measurements with the help of mentor Vlado Halusek, and the construction and painting part of the work was carried out by Vlado Halusek. The diameter of the semicircle is 190 cm. The project was presented in 2002 at the national astronomy competition. The photos were taken with an analog camera during 2002 and 2003, and a copy of them is attached. These photos were chosen because they won a bronze plaque at the Eco-photo contest in 2004 in Ferdinandovac. This competition is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports, and the theme for which the photos were submitted was: "Gardens".
