Analemmatic sundial in front of the school. The creation of the sundial began in 2015, when the first funds were received from the Tourist Board of the City of Split. Finally, with own funds and funds obtained through the competition for extracurricular activities of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports and Science, the sundial was completed in 2023. Art teacher Ana Madunić gave the idea for the design of the sundial and drew the first sketch on paper in life size with the students at the time. The math and physics teacher, Ana Vukadinović, made the calculations with the students. Along with the housekeeper Tomislava Ljubas, the school's employees and students participated in making the mosaic, and the janitor Toni Vantić did the concrete works. The final works were made by the art teacher Branka Ivelja with the students choosing the sea as the background, highlighting 'our greatest wealth and our pride'. The sundial was officially opened by the principal Željka Ninčević, on the occasion of marking the 110th year of education in Slatine on March 26, 2024.
